How to Swim in the Ocean of Love: A Short Manual on Reaching Spiritual Bliss
About
The practice of spiritual bliss meditation is the heart of this book. After you learn the technique, it only takes about five minutes to reach a state of love and bliss. If you practice every day, it will illuminate your life. Meditation is a method for stilling the mind. Spiritual bliss meditation stills the mind, but it also fills it with joy and love. And it does this very quickly and very easily. Spiritual bliss is a state where the mind is suspended without words in blissful love, and you cannot stop smiling.
After spending time practicing spiritual bliss meditation, you begin to perceive that you are surrounded by an ocean of love. The path of spiritual bliss that this book teaches leads to a sense of being loved by the whole universe and eventually to the realization that the whole universe, yourself included, is made out of divine love and bliss.
In addition to experiencing spiritual bliss and feeling loved by everyone and everything, this path leads to intense happiness, loving your body, and a sense of radiating divine light.
When you pray/meditate/contemplate, do you exchange love with your chosen divine being to the point where you are smiling, smiling, smiling, and feeling loved unconditionally?
When you pray/meditate/contemplate, do you get into states of joy and bliss?
Do you feel intensely happy most of the time? When you are down, do you feel like happiness is there like the sun just behind the clouds?
When you meet other people, do you feel the divine light in them so that you love them and you feel that they love you in return in their secret hearts?
Do you feel compassion in your heart welling up for all the people in this world who are suffering and in anguish?
How to Swim in the Ocean of Love comes from my years of research on the inner secrets of early Christianity, the teachings of the mystics, and my own spiritual experiences. It also relies heavily on the practices of Tibetan Buddhism. Beyond spiritual bliss meditation, the book explores the purpose of the creation, why there is so much suffering in our lives, the nature of unconditional love, and the various stages of human development leading toward enlightenment.
